How much are you ready to pay to go from 0 to 60 mph in 1.72 seconds?
Aspark Owl is a new electric hypercar promoted as the fastest accelerating car in the world. It was first previewed around three years ago and is now finally available for purchase in North America and Europe.
Aspark is an Osaka-based hypercar manufacturer, aiming to produce only 50 units of its Owl, with 20 units reserved for Asia, 20 for Europe, and only 10 units available in the US market.
Aspark’s Owl gets its power from four electric motors, producing a whopping 1,985 horsepower and 1,475 lb-ft of torque. The motors are powered by a 64 kWh lithium-ion battery unit, giving the Owl a pretty good 280-mile range for an electric hypercar.
The aforementioned power figures result in world-class performance with a claimed top speed of 249 mph. But what Aspark is especially proud of is the Owl’s 0-60 mph time of 1.72 seconds. The manufacturer also claims the Owl to be the lowest road-legal electric hypercar, with a total height sitting just 38.9 inches from the ground. Add to that its breathtaking design, and the Owl is all set to mesmerize car enthusiasts worldwide.
To get their hands on one, interested parties might have a hard time finding the select few dealers authorized to sell the Owl. For instance, in Europe, the sole listed dealer can be found in Beure, France. At the same time, the United States is no different, with a single authorized dealership located in Miami, Florida.
Of course, exclusivity comes with a price. If you want to be one of the lucky few to own an Aspark Owl, you’ll have to shell out a hefty $3.6 million!
Luckily, dreaming costs nothing at all…
