Ford is making it cheaper than ever to get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle. Thanks to huge discounts, the 2024 Mustang Mach-E can now be leased for less than a Toyota Camry in some areas. Yes, you read that right—an all-electric Mustang SUV, which costs over $10,000 more than a Camry, now has a lower monthly lease payment.
In Southern California, the Mach-E Select is available for just $229 per month on a 24-month lease, with $4,329 due at signing. That brings the effective monthly cost to $409—not far from the 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid, which is $391 per month with a longer 39-month lease. However, Ford’s additional incentives make the Mach-E even cheaper.
On top of the already low lease deal, Ford is offering:
- A $7,750 lease cash bonus
- A $1,000 charging credit for home charging or public charging use
- A $1,000 conquest bonus for current Tesla owners
With these savings, the Mach-E’s effective lease cost drops to just $326 per month. That’s even cheaper than leasing a 2025 Toyota Corolla LE, a gas-powered sedan with a much lower starting price of $22,325. In other words, you could drive a Mustang-branded electric SUV for less money than an entry-level Corolla.
If leasing isn’t your thing, Ford is also offering big incentives for buyers. The 2024 Mustang Mach-E is available with 0% APR financing for 72 months, plus $2,500 in bonus cash for those looking to purchase instead of lease.
The discounts don’t stop there. Ford is also cutting prices on the 2024 F-150 Lightning, its all-electric pickup. Buyers can now get:
- 0% APR for 72 months
- Up to $5,000 off MSRP, depending on the trim
- An extra $1,000 in conquest cash for Tesla owners
- Another $2,000 in savings for Ram truck owners
With competition heating up in the EV market, Ford is going all-in on making its electric vehicles more affordable. New models like the Honda Prologue and Hyundai IONIQ 5 are putting pressure on established brands, and Ford is responding with some of its biggest EV discounts yet.
