As usual with any new Toyota models, Modellista just presented its latest styling upgrade set for the brand-new 2022 Land Cruiser 300.
Last month, Toyota unveiled the all-new Land Cruiser, built on a new platform and packing a slew of modern tech, a new engine, a refreshed exterior look, and substantial performance improvements.
If you think the new 300 is still a little bland for your taste, you’ll be happy to hear that Modellista launched a more aggressive body kit to further enhance the look of the 300 series Land Cruiser. In a way, Modellista’s kit counters the Land Cruiser 300 GR Sport variant, which is already up for grabs.
Of course, Modellista’s kit is not as performance-oriented as Gazoo Racing’s variant, but the legendary off-roader will surely turn heads after the new aftermarket upgrades. Indeed, Modellista brings a reimagined front bumper with a front spoiler, angular fog light housings, and a lower bumper opening adding to the sporty appearance.
Modellista also added a rear diffuser, twin-outlet exhaust tailpipe, and a stainless steel rear bumper step guard. Customers will also have an option to choose between 21″ gloss black and matte black alloy wheels.
Overall, Modellista’s package is more like a touchup than a full-fledged upgrade, unlike the GR Sport—not to forget that there’s no major update inside the cabin.
Unsurprisingly, Modellista’s kit won’t be available in the US since Toyota doesn’t sell the SUV there anyway. The previous-gen model was available from 2007 to 2020, but sales were disappointing. However, the next-gen Lexus LX will share the same base as the LC 300 and should arrive in the US by next year—better than nothing, I guess.
