Dodge Charger Gets a Wicked Widebody Kit from Bader Karosserie

Bader’s widebody Charger Hellcat is 3.5 inches wider than the original and boasts extra-wide tires to fill those crazy wheel arches.

We agree S. Bader Karosserie und Lack is no household name. But after its latest venture, there’s no doubt they are no ordinary tuners. Namely, Bader turned a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat into a widebody beast that will turn heads wherever it goes.

It all started with the company’s owner, Sebastian Baden, picking a 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat and transforming it into a widebody machine using Lion’s kit. His work completely changed the Charger’s demeanor, transforming it into a mean-looking sedan.

Bader made quite a few modifications to the Charger Hellcat to achieve the menacing look. For instance, the front fascia packs a large splitter, accompanied by sill extensions on the sides and side extensions on the rear aprons. Meanwhile, a more prominent ducktail spoiler sums up the entire look very successfully.

Overall, the kit has added 3.5 inches to the width of the widebody Charger Hellcat. Hence, Bader needed to compensate for that with substantial 21-inch five-spoke wheels coated in 295/35-series tires for the front and bonkers 355/25-series tires at the back. And even these Bugatti Chiron-level tires weren’t big enough to fit the fenders, so Bader employed 25-mm to do the job.

But Bader didn’t stop there and added a Momentum GT cold air intake, a larger Blox 105 mm throttle valve, and an upgraded GME Performance valve exhaust to improve the roaring beast’s sound. Bader didn’t say how much horsepower it gained with these upgrades, but the Charger Hellcat is already a savage machine, providing 707 hp from its 6.2-liter supercharged V8. Finally, the tuner employed JXB Performance bearings to support the drive shaft and 200-cell cats.

If Bader’s widebody Dodge Charger Hellcat entices you, it will cost you $4,000 to acquire the whole kit.
