The SuperWolf crew-cab pickup truck is Alpha Motors’ sixth EV revealed in as many months, although the startup hasn’t produced a single prototype yet!
It might seem a bit bizarre that from December last year, the California startup has showcased the Ace Performance Coupe, Jax All-terrain SUV, Wolf, and Wolf+. Still, there has not been a word about a prototype or production unit being made.
Nonetheless, Alpha Motors says that the SuperWolf will measure 214.6 inches long, 78.5 inches wide, and 69.3 inches high. The Wolf series’ first design was a single cab pickup and the second, called Wolf+, was an extended cab model. Meanwhile, the SuperWolf is a “multipurpose adventure vehicle” designed to be practical in its approach with more interior space, additional customization options, and improved utility.
The EV will feature different accessories like off-road lights, retractable tonneau cover, KMC wheels, custom front bumpers, and bed extensions. Interestingly, the SuperWolf also comes with tube doors, often seen on Jeeps, and a massive bed with 1,132 liters of cargo space. Furthermore, the four-passenger cabin space will be minimalistic with a premium sound system, Bluetooth, and a centered tablet-style infotainment panel.
Alpha also shared that the SuperWolf will be made from aluminum, carbon fiber, and steel and have a towing capacity of 3,050 kg. However, the performance specifications of the electric powertrain are nothing but estimates and projections. Still, the startup claims a dual-motor four-wheel-drive system with a 75-85 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, good enough for a 275-300 miles range.
As everything about the EV seems to be draped in mystery and silence, the pricing is also more an estimate than an exact value. Regardless, Alpha says the SuperWolf will cost between $48,000 and $56,000, depending on the battery size. The price seems very low for an EV made with carbon fiber and aluminum, but let’s give Alpha the benefit of the doubt.
There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the production timeline. However, we hope that the startup finally gives us something at some point.
