Liberty Walk Transforms the Suzuki Jimny into a Miniature G-Class

The Liberty Walk G-Class body kit for the Suzuki Jimny features a new radiator grille, upright bumper, rear wing, and a bonnet with a hood scoop.

You wish to own a Mercedes-Benz G-Class, but all you can afford is a Suzuki Jimny? So why not make your two-door SUV appear like a mini version of the 10X costlier luxury G-Wagon? Is that even possible? Surely it is, considering that the Jimny is the G-Class’ closest visual sibling. It has a flat roof, boxy profile, round headlights, pronounced fenders, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. The only difference is the size. Well, and a slightly more aggressive front grille, more pronounced fenders, and larger wheels.

Fortunately, Liberty Walk developed a body kit that transforms the Suzuki Jimny into a miniature G-Class SUV. The renowned Japanese tuner is primarily known for its over-the-top body kits, but the ones on sale for the Jimny are rather modest and effective. There are four packages offered, with the pay more and receive more formula.

Starting with the most affordable G-Mini Light body kit, it merely modifies the front fascia with a G-Class-inspired radiator grille, upright bumper, and signature bolt-on wide fenders. It will set you back $3,186. By adding a rear wing to the preceding kit, you’ll get the G-Mini Full package for $3,726.

Meanwhile, customers seeking full-body customization will need the company’s G-Mini Premium body kit. The high-end package contains all of the equipment from the lower-end kits, plus a roof spoiler and a unique bonnet with a hood scoop. This one will cost you $5,778. Finally, the kit with a carbon fiber bonnet hood costs $6,534.

Liberty Walk has also outfitted the Jimny with large alloy wheels, new LED headlights and taillights, tinted windows, wind deflectors, and a bespoke, funky-looking side pipe sports exhaust system. A metallic spare wheel cover completes the intended G-Wagon look.

The mini off-roader features black leather-trimmed seats with contrast white stitching and Liberty Walk logo, distinctive floor mats, and a carbon sports steering wheel.

Aside from the cosmetic changes, it would be a much better deal if the tuner had swapped Jimny’s standard naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with a powerful alternative. For the time being, we’ll have to make do with the SUV’s 101hp and 130Nm (95lb-ft) of torque.
