MINI is saying goodbye to its beloved Clubman with 1,969 examples of the Final Edition.
The Clubman is arguably the most unique variant of the MINI Cooper. With its longer wheelbase and split cargo door, the Clubman is essentially the brand’s funky yet practical station wagon. But sadly, MINI decided to axe the model after 2024MY.
So to say goodbye, the English carmaker announced a Clubman Final Edition, marking the end of its journey. Indeed, the Clubman’s last hurrah will take the form of an exclusive build with only 1,969 units produced – representing the year of the ‘Clubman’ nameplate’s debut. Interestingly, MINI claims this last Clubman edition is more sophisticated than ever while also having a stronger character.
The Final Edition is available in three different color options — Nanuq White, Enigmatic Black, and Melting Silver — further complemented by copper trim accents on the front grille, fender vents, lower side profile, and new cool-looking wheels. And, of course, numbered badges are placed on the C-pillar, and the rear “Final Edition” badge will let everyone know you’re driving one of the last Clubmans.
Inside, the combination of black and brown adds a strong retro yet luxurious vibe. Moreover, more Final Edition badges can be found on the dashboard, door trims, steering wheel, and floor mats.
The Cooper S Clubman Final Edition is offered in both FWD and AWD configurations, but sadly, there’s nothing special in the powertrain department; just the regular 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder producing 189 hp and 206 lb-ft of torque — no John Cooper Works engine option here.
While the price hasn’t yet been confirmed, we expect only a small premium over the standard variant, considering that the Last Edition only adds minor cosmetic upgrades after all.
Still, if you’ve been thinking about buying a MINI Clubman for a while, now might be a perfect time — this one could very well become a collector’s item in the short future.
