The brand new 2022 Nissan Frontier is here in both two-door and four-door configurations.
The 2022 Frontier S King Cab 4×2 is available with an extended cab and half-sized rear doors and offered in two trim options, either the $29,015 S base variant or the $31,715 SV King Cab 4X2. Both trim options come with a 6-foot bed and an optional four-wheel drive for an extra $3200. All-wheel-drive S trims include the S King Cab 4X4 and the SV King Cab 4X4 priced at $32,215 and $34,915 respectively.
Moving up the lineup, there is a bigger and more comfortable Crew cab Variant with full-length rear doors. The entry-level S Crew Cab 4×2 is priced at $30,515 and the SV trim is offered as a short wheelbase model, the SV Crew Cab 4×2 SWB, and a long-wheelbase model called SV Crew Cab 4×2 LWB, starting at $33,315 and $35,215 respectively. Nissan also offers four-wheel-drive variants here, the $36,315 SV Crew Cab 4X4 SWB and the $38,125 SV Crew Cab 4X4 LWB.
Finally, the range-topping 2022 Nissan Frontier is the PRO-X Crew Cab and is offered in both two-wheel and all-wheel drive layouts. Nissan says this one is a lot more performance-oriented than its siblings and is ideal for off-roading. The 4X2 variant costs $35,415 while the 4×4 variant is priced at $38,415.
The $990 Technology package is available across all trim levels and includes high beam assist, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot warning, rear sonar system, rear automatic braking, and intelligent cruise control. In addition to that, the higher trim levels get a traffic sign recognition system.
Furthermore, the 2022 Nissan Frontier SV-Pro, Pro-X, and Pro-4X are also available with several optional packages like the $1,990 Convenience Package adding a couple of neat features in the cargo bed, including adjustable tie-down cleats, bel lights, a trailer hitch with wiring harness, and a 120-volt outlet. And for those of you living a little more up North, it’s also offered with heated side mirrors, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.
The more expensive $2,790 Premium Package available on the SV and Pro comes with Prima-Tex upholstery, LED interior lighting, LED fog lights, a 10-speaker Fender stereo, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The 2022 Nissan Frontier is set to go on sale next September.
