The latest addition to Beam’s auto collection is a Lamborghini Countach Replica.
The Lamborghini Countach replica was recently featured on the YouTube channel “CB Media,” in which the Thai singer, actor, and host Kawee Tanjararak, a.k.a. Beam, shared insight about his creation.
Apart from the near-perfect exterior looks of the iconic Lamborghini Countach sports car showcasing a classic white-and-red combination along with Marlboro racing livery, the car is an amalgam of parts from Hyundai, Subaru, Lexus, and Nissan.

The replica sits on a standard Hyundai front-wheel-drive chassis that has been custom welded and extended so that the car can boast a twin-turbo V8 engine in a rear-wheel-drive setup. Turning a front-wheel-drive chassis to a rear-wheel-drive in itself is a formidable challenge to overcome, but the team behind this creation has done it. The powerhouse is a Toyota UZ 4.0-litre V8 engine sourced from the Lexus LS 400, boosted via two turbochargers.

To maximize performance, the engine is mated to Subaru manual transmission reserved for 6-cylinder cars, while a Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 air suspension system offers a somewhat comfortable ride. Completing the design are appropriate headlights, a mile-high spoiler, and, of course, scissor doors.
Although the vehicle looks promising, it sure isn’t nowhere near perfection yet. The YouTube video was recorded twice as a result of mechanical issues that stopped the car. During the first clip, as Beam and the host drove the Countach replica, the right front shock broke as they maneuvered on a speed bump. Later, during the second clip, after the car had been fixed, they again went for a stroll. But alas, a few minutes into the video, and we find the car pulled over as the front suspension broke again.
Well, Beam at least kept his cool because he’s aware that replicas come with mechanical gremlins, as he already owns quite a few of them. His personal favorite is the Porsche 550 Spider replica, with a classic retro exterior blended in with a 1.6-liter flat-four rear-mounted engine and a single roaring exhaust. However, the 550 Spider has been refined and tuned. Further into the video, the host gets a smooth ride to the station.
Beam assured us that there will be a third video after he rectifies all issues, and hopefully, this one will be shot without any mishaps.
