Mansory’s Extreme Maserati MC20 Makeover Packs 720 HP

Some might view Mansory’s visual makeover of the MC20 as a travesty, but it is one of the least offensive Mansory has done in recent years.

Mansory already revealed the Maserati MC20 body kit six weeks ago; now, the tuner has unveiled the completely modified supercar, and we must admit it’s one of the company’s best works.

Mansory’s restyled MC20 features a carbon-fiber body kit that adds fierceness to the graceful Italian styling, but also a power upgrade and an updated interior.

The German-based luxury tuner has replaced most of the original body panels of the MC20. There is a new front fascia with larger inlets, an engine cover with a roof scoop, a vented hood with matching fenders, and a large diffuser. Although small, the aerodynamic canards catch our eyes, and so does the tail wing. Moreover, most body parts are carbon fiber, including the rear wheel arches, door panels, and wing mirrors.

The Mansory MC20 comes in a stunning dark gray with a satin finish with an exposed, forged carbon fiber. The tuner also threw some yellow buts here and there to spice things up and painted the 10-spoke wheels in dark bronze. As a finishing touch, a pinstripe in the colors of the Italian flag runs across the middle of the MC20.

The cabin is equally eye-catching, thanks to the yellow-leather dashboard, steering wheel, floor, door panels, and seat bolsters. Only the seat corners, central armrest, and a few other parts are not given the bright treatment and instead come clad in white leather. Mansory also threw a few matte carbon fiber accents in the MC20’s cabin, which play great with the dominant yellow color.

But Mansory’s tuning didn’t stop with the visual upgrades and also meddled with the engine. The tuner didn’t specify the upgrades it made, but regardless, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 got a 90-hp boost, taking the figure to 720 hp. Moreover, the torque rose from 538 lb-ft (730 Nm) to 627 lb-ft (850 Nm). As a result, the Mansory MC20 reaches 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).

There is still no word on pricing, but considering the company’s record, don’t expect anything less than five figures!
