This particular F8 might be the rarest “regular” Ferrari in America.
As we know, the Ferrari F8 Tributo is pretty much the perfected version of its predecessor, the 488 GTB. Indeed, despite a slightly revamped styling, it’s got the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 with a bumped-up power output of 710 hp.
However, only two years after the F8’s launch in 2019, Ferrari unveiled yet another mid-engined supercar, the 296 GTB, featuring a new 2.9-liter V6 hybrid powertrain producing a whopping 830 hp. No need to say that the F8 couldn’t compete and had to go.

Interestingly, Ferrari North America had received a single 2023 F8 Tributo right before the automaker discontinued its production. As a result, only one lucky US customer will be able to get his hands on the one-of-one 2023-produced supercar. And some say whoever bought it might not even know how rare it is.
Sure, the 2023 F8 Tributo may be like any other F8 out there, but owning a production vehicle that nobody else has on the continent can be a luxury in itself. And knowing how passionate the prancing horse collectors can be, it’s very likely this particular F8 will be more valuable than others by a considerable margin. After all, it might be a “regular” production model, but the F8 Tributo is also the last non-hybrid V8 mid-engine supercar from the automaker.

That said, if you long to own a Ferrari F8, you can still get the Spider version, though. But keep in mind that model could soon be axed too since the 296 GTS is also coming, possibly replacing the F8 Spider’s position as the brand’s entry-level open-top supercar.
Congrats to whoever bought the only 2023 Ferrari F8 Tributo in the US — enjoy your last non-hybrid mid-engined Ferrari! But for the rest of us, sadly, we’ll have to accept that the Italian marque claims 80% of its models will be either electric or hybrid by 2030.
So long, purely ICE-powered Ferraris — you will be missed!
