In other words, it’s the least hideous supercar the tuner has ever laid its hands on.
After endless eyesore from Mansory, the German tuning house finally gives us a little break with its recently unveiled Ferrari 296 GTB-based Tempesta. Sure, it still looks quite out-of-this-world, but at least the Ferrari’s aura remains intact. Like any other Tempesta, the car underwent significant cosmetic changes with a new color palette and little tweaks on the mechanical side.
Mansory is always a pro when it comes to making some of the most controversial body kits known to mankind. This 296 GTB Tempesta, however, is not that bad, considering some of the other hilarious creations came up with in the past, such as the Venatus EVO (based on Lamborghini Urus) or F9XX Tempesta Celeste (based on Ferrari SF90 Spider). Still, the tuner’s recipe for exterior works is quite simple: lots of forged carbon and many weird aero elements — and it didn’t make an exception for this Ferrari.

For starters, the front of the 296 GTB was given a more aggressive bumper with forged carbon splitters, and the headlight intakes are now made of forged carbon fiber pieces. The Tempesta body kit for the baby Ferrari also includes new side mirrors, redesigned and rather outrageous side skirts, louvers, and unique-looking side air intakes with little fins. And as usual, the iconic Ferrari “shield” has been replaced with the tuner’s logo.
The supercar now sits on brand-new black forged wheels with 255/30/21 tires up front and 335/25/22 at the rear. Still, the new set of wheels is quite good-looking, but that doesn’t really come as a surprise since oversized wheels are also Mansory’s “typical” recipe.
As for the rear end, it’s been given a new diffuser with additional F1-style rear fog lights, the Ferrari emblem has been replaced with the tuner’s logo, and the taillights seemed to have been smoked.
But the elephant in the room is definitely the FXX K-inspired rear wings. Sure, it looks cool on a LaFerrari, but on a 296? We’re not really sure about that; those winglets kinda look like a shrugging praying mantis, if you ask me.

Interior-wise, it’s splashed with bright yellow, which we’re sure can be changed to any other color if it’s not your cup of tea (it sure ain’t mine). You can also find some red accents and naked carbon fiber bits throughout the cabin. And to make sure you don’t forget who customized the car, there’s a TON of Mansory logos everywhere, including the steering wheel, floor mats, center console, seatbelts, and headrests.
While the 296 GTB produces a total output of 819 hp and 546 lb-ft torque from its stock 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 hybrid, Mansory manages to squeeze out more power thanks to ECU tuning. As a result, it now produces 870 hp and 553 lb-ft, good enough for a 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds — not bad, right?
In summary, the Mansory Ferrari 296 GTB Tempesta represents a departure from the tuner’s usual “overkill” creations. While it retains some of Mansory’s signature styling elements, it still somewhat manages to retain the essence of the Ferrari, resulting in a supercar that’s both intriguing and somewhat unconventional. Whether it aligns with your taste or not, that’s a whole other story, though.
