If you weren’t a fan of the new C8 Corvette’s look, Competition Carbon might have what you need.
Many customers were not impressed with the crazy, angular design of the 8th-generation Corvette, but thanks to Competition Carbon’s new body kit for the C8 Corvette Roadster/Spyder, that might be in the past.
This kit features several aero body components that give the ‘Vette a striking design, making sure it will turn heads as it should. In fact, when suited in Competition Carbon’s new kit, the Corvette looks a lot similar to the new Lamborghini Centenario, with massively flared fenders and side intakes.

The huge engine intake that sits over and behind the driver’s head gives it a racecar-like look, reminiscent of the intake shown on the Mercedes-AMG F1-powered Project One hypercar.
But the changes don’t stop there. The front bumper has been made to look even sharper than the standard Vette, with the body kit deleting the stock headlights. Instead, CC has fitted the front grille with center-mounted round headlights — a feature seldom seen in the car industry before.
Though the sharper DRLs make the front of the car look like a McLaren, the sharp-nosed-in bonnet shaping inwards keeps the essence of the Corvette alive. The lower front splitter has been divided into a certain angular design, and the hood was given extra venting for better airflow through the body.
The rear end doesn’t seem to have changed much since the stock Corvette already had some incredible Transformer eyes-style LED taillights and a big wing. However, a significant difference is the twin exhausts now come from the engine’s top rather than on the splitter, a little like the Porsche 918 Spyder. Competition Carbon says that the body kit will feature a manually-attachable Targa top.
With a body kit like this, amplifying the wild look that the stock Corvette already possessed and adding several features only seen on very high-end German and Italian exotics, Competition Carbon’s C8RR Corvette should be turning heads and leaving onlookers in awe.
