Aston Martin just launched the new DB12’s official configurator on its website. It comprises a list of snazzy exterior and interior color choices and options to visualize the perfect configuration according to your specific preferences. Moreover, users can access various menus for customization, and it’s surprisingly a lot of fun.
By opening the configurator, you will be greeted with a selection of color choices for the DB12. Interestingly, the default color of the new grand tourer on the website is iridescent emerald – bright green with a hint of metallic gold flakes. But you can change it to whichever shade you want since the paint options are virtually limitless. Not to mention you can even set the virtual background environment/scenery from the available selection, varying from roads with different views to the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula 1 Team’s pit garage.
After picking the main exterior color, many other optional options await. One of the most eye-catching is the upper/lower exterior pack, offered in gloss black, carbon fiber, or body-colored finish — only the roof and front grille are à la carte. Furthermore, in the wheels department, you get three styles with three different finishes to choose from alongside the brake caliper color options. Aston also gives you two tail light colors – smoked or red.
Interior-wise, you must choose the environment first – accelerate, inspire comfort, or inspire sport — then you get to pick the color of your choice. If you opt for a dual-tone palette, you can pick two colors – primary and secondary. After that, it’s all the same as the exterior with trim inlay, carpet, headlining, brogue, seatbelt, stitching, and “interior jewelry” finishing options. Interestingly, there’s an option for seat styles – comfort or racy performance seats.
