Ariel Rider launches the Grizzly e-bike featuring two batteries, two 750W motors, an off-road suspension, and puncture-resistant tires.
In the past ten years, Ariel Rider has made a name for itself as a manufacturer of high-quality and robust electric bikes that offer an unparalleled ride experience. These bikes cannot only handle everyday traffic conditions, but they are equally great for off-roading. However, none of Ariel Rider’s bikes was built exclusively for adventure enthusiasts — until now.
The Grizzly appears to be a tough bike with beefy looks. But it’s not all about the looks – the Grizzly has the internals to match its adventurous look. For instance, riders can choose which motor they want to activate. In other words, you can have a front-drive, rear-drive, or all-drive propulsion. The all-drive mode is excellent for off-road riders, providing much better traction on slippery surfaces.
Moreover, Ariel Rider has made sure the Grizzly never runs out of juice on you. The e-bike has two large batteries (14 Ah and 18 Ah), providing a 75-mile range. Not too shabby for the category. Besides, Ariel Rider claims it uses the same battery technology as Tesla. However, it uses a high-voltage 52V system instead, bringing more power, higher speed, longer range, and improved efficiency compared to other e-bikes on the market.
Furthermore, there is a full-suspension frame and puncture-resistant tires, making it the ideal choice for adventure junkies. Thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes, braking won’t be an issue when going downhill either.
Grizzly’s suspension is also very advanced – Ariel Rider claims it’s 100% CNC machined and one of the best in its category. And thanks to the adjustable rebound, the rider can also improve the handling or comfort on the go.
The Ariel Rider Grizzly comes at $3,299 with free shipping to the lower 48 states. However, the Grizzly is currently on sale for $2,799.
