Ever dreamed of having a Corvette or Camaro engine in your Silverado? Well, you’ll be pretty happy with the Silverado Yenko/SC!
Chevrolet, in partnership with SVE, announced its 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Yenko/SC equipped with a supercharged 6.2l LT1 V8 engine producing around 800 hp and 720 pound-feet of torque, and people just can’t stop talking about it.
Word on the street is that 2021 Silverado is one of the best, and the toughest Silverado one can own. TopSpeed has qualified the truck as “Quickest 2021 Limited Production Pick-up Truck in the World”. The 2021 SVE Silverado is giving a fierce competition to the RAM TRX. The SVE engineers from Toms River, New Jersey, were the ones who turned this truck into a high-power beast, which proudly wears the name of the brand, Yenko, in bold letter on the front grille. SVE had previously worked on the GMC Canyon-based Syclone in 2018 and the 2021 GMC Syclone.

The 2021 Silverado Yenko/SC has a tuner look, which makes not turning heads impossible. And if its visual appeal alone ain’t enough, the sound of the 800hp engine will do the trick just fine. The V8 engine has a supercharged air-to-water inter cooling system in addition to CNC-ported heads and forged internals. The standard ten-speed transmissions have been dropped down to heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmissions and an upgraded gearbox with a custom torque converter and new clutch packs.
As optional features, one also get Yenko stamped brake calipers, and a sport suspension system, which makes the front-end of the truck 2″ lower and 5″ for the rear-end, which significantly reduce the rollover risk and enhance the driver’s control over the vehicle.
SVE has not disappointed in delivering eye-pleasing exterior and a comforting interior. The exterior displays simplicity yet radiates power with the enormous wheels, quad exhaust tips, and custom-made stainless exhaust system. It also showcases its royalty by having the Yenko/SC graphic on the vehicle’s tailgate and side stripes. The 2021 Silverado comes with bigger and better brake rotors as well as Yenko 22-inch alloy wheels fitted with 305/45 performance rubbers to make sure all that power is correctly transferred to the pavement.
The Silverado Yenko/SC will be available in bright silver, satin black with red stripes, and satin black. The interior is similar to previous Silverado models, with optional leather seat packages.
Apart from its specifications, another reason why the 2021 Silverado is the topic of the hour is due to the pretty good warranty service offered, which is somewhat of a rarity when it comes to high-performance trucks. Each Yenko designed vehicle will have a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty covering supercharger assembly, non-powertrain components, and transmission.
The 2021 Chevrolet Silverado is available in Crew Cab or Double Cab body style and is available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. Its price is not disclosed yet, but keep in mind that only 50 models will be made available through GM dealers, making it a pretty exclusive vehicle — not as exclusive as the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Xago Edition, though, but still…
