2022 Nissan Pathfinder

2022 Nissan Pathfinder Starts at $34,560, AWD is a $900 Option

Nissan finally reveals information regarding the upcoming 2022 Pathfinder’s pricing!

Nissan’s new Pathfinder will be available in four different trims and each with an optional AWD configuration for an extra $1,900. The base variant, the Pathfinder S, can accommodate eight occupants and stands on 18-inch wheels.

On the inside, the cabin has a piano black finish with cloth seats. It features an 8-inch infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM, along with an additional 7-inch Drive-Assist display. The 2WD model is priced at $34,560, including a $1,150 destination and handling fee.

Next up is the SV trim, which starts at $37,350 and comes with adaptive cruise control and a power-adjustable driver seat. Heated front seats are available for optimum comfort, and with Nissan’s ProPilot Assist, it does not lose points on safety either.

The SL trim starts at $40,740 and houses a 9-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay support. It also incorporates Nissan’s Door-to-Door navigation system with 3D graphics, and the interior upholstery is covered in leather.

Finally, the range-topping Pathfinder Platinum has a massive 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 10.8-inch HUD at the center of the dash, and Nissan also added a wireless charging pad for charging on-the-go. Moreover, a 7-seat configuration is offered with captain’s chairs in the second row. Unfortunately, interested buyers will have to shell out $47,340 to get their hands on this one.

The 2022 Pathfinder is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 producing 284 hp and 259 lb-ft of torque. It is connected to a new 9-speed automatic transmission that replaces the previous model’s controversial CVT. If one opts for 4WD, they’ll also get a 7-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector.

Compared to the previous generation, the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder costs about $1,430 more, but we think that is worth every penny. The Japanese carmaker would compete with Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and the Toyota Highlander in the SUV segment.

And even better, the wait is almost over as it is expected to reach dealerships later this month.
