Audi refreshed its Q4 e-tron electric SUV with new technology, a longer all-electric range, and better performance.
The German manufacturer released pictures of the Q4 e-tron interior, showing advanced technology, most notably, a new heads-up display with augmented reality, raising the bar significantly.
The HUD will display basic information such as speed and battery capacity, but it won’t stop there. Namely, the display will also show arrows at turns and intersections to help the driver with navigation. Interestingly, the system can even display traffic signs and the speed of surrounding vehicles. Overall, the Q4 e-tron’s new HUD is a much more effective system than regular heads-up displays currently on the market.
Another addition to the cockpit is the new infotainment system with a standard 10.1 inches display, with an optional upgrade to 11.6 inches. The screen is a part of Audi’s MMI infotainment system, along with physical buttons for climate and menu control.
Apart from the tech goodies, the interior upholstery features a mix of leather and faux leather accents. It is available in black, steel gray, Santos brown, or Pergament beige. Eco-friendly faux leather and suede-like Dinamica microfiber material are also available as an option, along with a Nappa leather premium finish.
Furthermore, the Audi Q4 e-tron features an ample cargo space of 18.2 cubic-feet with all seats in place and 52.6 cubic feet with the rear bench folded, on par with the larger Q5. Unfortunately, pricing details are not available yet, but based on its specs, we expect a starting price of around $55,000.
