The Maxus V90 Villa Edition absolutely the most stunning motorhome, featuring an expandable first floor, extendable second floor, and even an elevator.
Modern luxurious RVs offer the comfort of a real home on wheels, extracting every possible inch of space to create a pleasant experience. However, SAIC’s Maxus V90 Villa Edition motorhome takes things even further. A second-floor further, to be exact. And amazingly, that’s only part of the story.
Notably, the second floor extends out along with an elevator to make it easily accessible. How did the engineers manage to do that is beyond comprehension, but we won’t care much as long as it works. Undoubtedly, this RV has taken luxury and interior space to the next level.
With its elevated second floor, you might be thinking that it will look too tall when it’s on the roads. However, the second-floor pops back while driving, making the RV look fairly normal-sized on roads.
However, when the Maxus V90 Villa Edition extends out its second floor, it will surely grab everyone’s attention. Measuring 133 square feet, the second floor is a lounge that boasts a lot of space. According to the company, this lounge can be used as a study room, a tea room, or a dining room.
Moreover, the room features glass walls that can transition from transparent to opaque, to serve the occupants’ privacy needs best. There’s even a small balcony that extends out from the floor, positioned just above the RV’s cab. No doubt, the RV provides the best view of nature out of any competitor.
Besides, accessing this floor is relatively easy due to the elevator located in the first floor’s rear-end. Keep in mind that this elevator can equip only one person at a time.
Thanks to all these features, the owners can enjoy camping without compromising on comfort.
Coming to the downstairs area, it measures 215 square feet, thanks to the extendable walls. This area features a kitchen, a spacious living room, a bathroom, and a luxury bar counter. The living room features an L-shaped sofa set and a big transparent TV. Moving on to the kitchen, it features an oven, cooktop, sink, and also refrigerator right next to the entryway. Of course, there’s a bathroom in the back.
All interior spaces are equipped with the company’s X-Connect RV system that passengers can access by a mobile device, wall-mounted touch screen, or any compatible wearables. Through this system, occupants can control and operate electronics, temperature, and other equipment.
On the outside, the V90 Villa Edition features LED lighting on the sides, which looks very appealing when you are on the second-floor balcony.
Although Maxus only provided renderings, it says it has already built a working model. Unfortunately, the V90 Villa Edition won’t be available in Europe and North America and will sell only in China. In its domestic market, it starts at $413,000, a fair price for all it’s offering.
