For 2021, Lexus presents its UX 250h Black Line Edition Special series, available next spring.
Toyota‘s luxury division claims that the UX Black Line Special Edition is a peerless balance between hybrid performance and design.
It is also worth noting that the 2021 UX Special Edition will only be available as an AWD hybrid variant, producing 181 hp and delivering 39 mpg thanks to its e-CVT.
The 2021 UX 250h Black Line Special Edition model will be offered in three different color palettes — Eminent White Pearl, Caviar, and the all-new Grecian Water (blue). Some variants feature color-keyed over-fenders to extend color all the way down to the wheel well, making the UX look even leaner and lower to the ground.
Furthermore, the Black Line Special Edition will also get black 18-inch wheels and black lug nuts, gloss black side sills and lower trim, shaded black headlamps, blackened side mirror covers, and blacked roof rails.
Lexus’ Special Edition offers some of the requested features while keeping in mind the feedback from dealers and guests, and making the 2021 UX 250h Black Line Special Edition even more bespoke and exclusively styled.
On the interior, customers are offered two alternatives to choose from — Black or Birch NuLuxe®-trimmed seats with blue accents and seatbelts. The blue accent continues throughout the cockpit, the seats, center armrest, doors, dashboard, seatbelts.
The UX 250h Black Line Special Edition also receives an advanced technology update, similar to the Premium UX 250h variant with features such as a power rear door with kick sensor, heated steering wheel, auto-dimming inside mirror, a de-icer for the windshield, wireless charging, and intuitive parking assist.
Lucky owners will also get a custom-made Zero Halliburton travel case set with Lexus’ logo laser-etched on chrome, a luxurious branded interior lining, and a Lexus leather badge. The set includes a 22″ Edge Lightweight international carry-on and a 26″ Continental travel case, delivered to the customer’s address after purchase.
Pricing hasn’t been disclosed yet, but Lexus promises to release more details closer to launch next spring. However, since only 1,000 Ux250h Black Line Special Edition will be produced, if you’d like to get your hands on one, we suggest you call your dealer to reserve one in advance.
