2022 Genesis G70 Now Available with a $1,000 Discount

Genesis announced a secret discount for the 2022 G70—but there’s a catch!

According to reports, Genesis will offer a $1,000 Retailer Choice Bonus Cash incentive for the 2022 G70. However, the offer is only available with a 2.9% APR loan of up to 60 months. On the other hand, the Korean luxury automaker also announced a $4,000 discount for the pre-facelift 2021 model.

The 2022 Genesis G70 comes with a host of different powertrain options. To start with, the base G70 2.0T packs a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 252 horsepower, while an eight-speed automatic transmission transfers that power to the rear wheels. Moving up, there is the bigger twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 churning out a much-healthier 365 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. The 3.3T trim option particularly steals the show for its impressive throttle response, as it can hit 0-60 mph in just 4.7 seconds.

Finally, the range-topping 3.3T Launch Edition also gets its fair share of attention, thanks to 19-inch multispoke alloy wheels and two-tone matte color options, including Obsidian Black/Sevilla Red interior.

From an aesthetic standpoint, the 2022 G70 gets a more stylish front fascia complete with LED quad-headlight strips, an aggressive hexagonal grille, and a silver Genesis logo. At the rear, two LED strips replace the single unit taillights, and there’s also a new diffuser on the rear bumper.

The G70’s cabin also gets its fair share of upgrades. Genesis now offers a massive 10.25-inch infotainment system compatible with all the latest features, including Navigation, Apple Carplay, and Android Auto. Apart from that, the 2022 Genesis G70 comes with premium leather-wrapped seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and high-quality sound insulation for an incredibly silent cabin. Other features include power-adjustable and heated seats, an acoustic windshield, and a small tray near the front center console to store smartphones and other small items.

Safety is Genesis’ utmost priority. The G70 comes with state-of-the-art driver assistance technologies, including automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Highway Driving Assist, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist.

The 2022 Genesis G70 starts from $38,570. More details on Genesis’ website.
