CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY
MODEL 441
MAINTENANCE MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
1. Coverage
A. The Cessna Model 441 Maintenance Manual is prepared in accordance with Air Transport Association
for Manufacturer's Technical Data, dated January 15, 1981.
B. The maintenance manual provides sufficient information to enable a mechanic, who is unfamiliar with
the Cessna Model 441 airplane, to service, troubleshoot, test, adjust and repair systems; and to
remove and install any unit normally requiring such action on the line or in the maintenance hangar. If
properly used, the maintenance manual will enable the mechanic to better maintain the Cessna Model
441.
WARNING: ALL INSPECTION INTERVALS, REPLACEMENT TIME LIMITS, OVERHAUL TIME
LIMITS, THE METHOD OF INSPECTION, LIFE LIMITS, CYCLE LIMITS, ETC.,
RECOMMENDED BY CESSNA ARE SOLELY BASED ON THE USE OF NEW,
REMANUFACTURED, OR OVERHAULED CESSNA APPROVED PARTS. IF PARTS
ARE DESIGNED, MANUFACTURED, REMANUFACTURED, OVERHAULED,
AND/OR APPROVED BY ENTITIES OTHER THAN CESSNA, THEN THE DATA IN
CESSNA'S MAINTENANCE/SERVICE MANUALS AND PARTS CATALOGS ARE
NO LONGER APPLICABLE AND THE PURCHASER IS WARNED NOT TO RELY
ON SUCH DATA FOR NON-CESSNA PARTS. ALL INSPECTION INTERVALS,
REPLACEMENT TIME LIMITS, OVERHAUL TIME LIMITS, THE METHOD OF
INSPECTION, LIFE LIMITS, CYCLE LIMITS, ETC., FOR SUCH NON-CESSNA
PARTS MUST BE OBTAINED FROM THE MANUFACTURER AND/OR SELLER OF
SUCH NON-CESSNA PARTS.
C. The information in this publication is based on data available at the time of publication and is updated,
supplemented, and automatically amended by all information issued in Service Newsletters, Service
Bulletins, Supplier Service Notices, Publication Changes, Revisions, Reissues and Temporary
Revisions. All such amendments become part of and are specifically incorporated within this
publication. Users are urged to keep abreast of the latest amendments to this publication through
information available at Cessna Authorized Service Stations or through the Cessna Product Support
subscription services. Cessna Service Stations have also been supplied with a group of supplier
publications which provide disassembly, overhaul, and parts breakdowns for some of the various
supplier equipment items. Suppliers publications are updated, supplemented, and specifically
amended by supplier issued revisions and service information which may be reissued by Cessna,
thereby automatically amending this publication and are communicated to the field through Cessna's
Authorized Service Stations and/or through Cessna's subscription services.
D. Inspection, maintenance and parts requirements for STC installations are not included in this manual.
When an STC installation is incorporated on the airplane, those portions of the airplane affected by the
installation must be inspected in accordance with the inspection program published by the owner of the
STC. Since STC installations may change systems interface, operating characteristics and component
loads or stresses on adjacent structures. Cessna provided inspection criteria may not be valid for
airplanes with STC installations.
E. Information beyond the scope of the maintenance manual may be found in the Wiring Diagram Manual
and supplier publications that are available from Cessna Parts Distribution. The supplier manuals
describe complete disassembly, overhaul and parts breakdown of some of the vendor equipment
items. A listing of the available publications is issued periodically in Service News Letters.
F. A Customer Care Supplies and Publications Catalog is available from your Cessna Service Station or
directly from the Cessna Parts Distribution, Department 701, CPD2, Cessna Aircraft Company, 5800
East Pawnee Road, Wichita Kansas 67218-5590. This catalog lists all publications and Customer

MODEL 441
MAINTENANCE MANUAL
2. Serialization
A. The configuration of each Cessna Model 441 airplane is tailored to the request of the customer. The
maintenance manual contains maintenance data for all Cessna Model 441 airplanes. The airplane
serial number is listed on the identification plate.
3. Using The Maintenance Manual
A. Division of Subject Matter
(1) The Cessna Model 441 Maintenance Manual is divided into a chapters and section/arrangement.
The chapters are separated into sections/subsystems. Each chapter has its own effectivity page
and table of contents. A list of chapters is also provided at the front of the manual.
B. Page Numbering System
(1) The page numbering system used in the Cessna Model 441 Maintenance Manual consists of
three-element numbers separated by dashes, under or beside which the page number and date
are printed.
A2005
Chapter/System 28-21-01 Subject/Unit
(Fuel) (Fuel Boost Pump)
Section/Subsystem
(Distribution)
(2) When the chapter/system element number is followed with zeros in the section/subsystem and
subject/unit element number (28-00-00), the information is applicable to the entire system.
(3) When the section/subsystem element number is followed with zeros in the subject/unit element
number (28-20-00), the information is applicable to subsystems within the system.
(4) The subject/unit element number is used to identify information applicable to units within the
subsystems. The subject/unit element number progresses sequentially from the number -01 in
accordance with the number of subsystem units requiring maintenance information.
(5) All system/subsystem/unit (chapter/section/subject) maintenance data is separated into specific
types of information: description and operation, troubleshooting, maintenance practices. Blocks
of sequential page numbers are used to identify the type of information:
Pages 1 through 99 - Description and Operation
Pages 101 through 199 - Troubleshooting
Pages 201 through 299 - Maintenance Practices
(6) Relatively simple units may not require description and operation, and/or troubleshooting
information; in such cases, unused page-number blocks are omitted. In addition, for those
items requiring many types of maintenance practices, page block 201 through 299 is omitted,
and page numbering and maintenance practices are broken out as follows:
Pages 301 through 399 - Servicing
Pages 401 through 499 - Removal/Installation
Pages 601 through 699 - Inspection/Check
