CB125
The Honda CB125 was a 122 cc motorcycle manufactured by Honda from 1973–1985 in the US. It was powered by an OHC engine. The ""S"" model was produced from 1971 to 1975 and was replaced in 1976 by the ""J"" model (the bikes in the US retained the S designation). However, making sure you have a Honda CB125 repair manual will ensure that if and when your XC90 does require some mechanical TLC, fixing it will be a walk in the park.
Between 1970 and 1984, the Honda CB125 was a four-stroke single-cylinder Sport Bike motorcycle manufactured by Honda. Max torque was 7.52 ft/lbs @ 6250 RPM. The CB125 came in two major variants the '71-75 ""S"" and the '76 and later ""J"". It featured an OHC engine with a 9500 rpm redline. It had a top speed of approximately 65 mph. The newer ""J"" model was given a two-piece head, 124 cc displacement, and a bigger carburetor, but this did not improve its performance above the earlier models.
The weak point of this motorcycle was the four-speed box, which compromised its performance. Additionally, the lack of a rev counter was a problem. These problems were later addressed with the rarer Honda CB125K2. So, when your CB125 breaks down, make sure you have your Honda CB125 workshop manual with you to make the job easier.
