Can Am Spyder Service Repair Motorbike Manuals

The Can-Am Spyder debuted in February 2007 and achieved reasonable market success, with over 100,000 units sold to date in North America. The beloved three-wheeler built on an ATV-like chassis brings the fun of a motorcycle while providing ample storage space for your belongings as well as several features simply unheard of on regular bikes. For instance, it's equipped with sophisticated traction and stability control, and unlike an actual motorcycle, it has power steering and a reverse function, taking ease of use to a new whole new level.

But all those gizmos aside, keeping your Can-Am Spyder running smoothly is crucial for maximum safety and peace of mind. Luckily, our vast collection of Can-Am Spyder owners manuals covering the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals is all you need to maintain and your trike (or "roadster" like Can-Am prefers to call it).

Moreover, for the more serious jobs, our digital Can-Am Spyder repair manuals contain in-depth troubleshooting charts, replacement procedures, wiring diagrams, and exploded-view illustrations - everything you need to repair any problem and keep those repair shop bills under control!

Produced by Bombardier Recreational Products, the Can-Am Spyder (""Spyder"") is a three-wheeled motorcycle. The vehicle has a single RWD, and the two wheels in the front are for steering, similar to the layout found in modern snowmobiles. The Spyder uses an ATV-like chassis. Although the manufacturer refers to it as a ""roadster,"" it is more of what has been traditionally called a trike. The Spyder was officially debuted on February 2007. However, before you tinker with your Spyder make sure you have a Can-Am Spyder workshop manual to get the job done right.

There are four model lines of Spyders; some of the lines have additional trim packages, which can result in them having quite the variety of looks. In 2018, Can-Am started producing a new lower-cost line named the Ryker. It is intended for a younger demographic and does not bear the Spyder moniker.

The Spyder RS series was a sport version with styling and seat position is more akin to a conventional sportbike. The Spyder ST series was a sports-touring hybrid variant of the Spyder, with removable saddlebags and an upright seat. This could have been compared to a sport-touring motorcycle. However, both were discontinued in 2016.

The Spyder RT series was a touring version, with a top case and integrated saddlebags. Comparable to a Touring motorcycle, there were two Trim Packages in the RT Line, the RT-S and the RT-Limited. The Spyder F3 series was a ""sport-cruising"" version, with feet-forward, upright seating.  Some liken it to a Cruiser motorcycle, where the seating is situated much lower to the ground. There are several trim packages offered in the F3 series, such as the base model F3, the F3-T (Touring), the F3-S (Special), F3-L (Limited), and an F3 Limited 10th (2017) Anniversary Edition.

The Can-Am Ryker series is a bare-bones, less expensive ""recreational"" variant, with an even lower feet-forward upright seating than the F3, and a smaller 600 or 900 cc engine. There are two trim packages offered for the Ryker, the base model, and the Rally Edition. All Spyders (except the Ryker) are given a front trunk, or ""frunk”. The Can-Am brand continues to be a staple of the Spyder’s appeal and doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon. Make sure you grab your Can-Am service manual today.
