Aprilia Habana Service Repair Motorbike Manuals

The Aprilia Habana is a small motorcycle produced by Aprilia, an Italian motorcycle manufacturer who originally sought out making bicycles, scooters, and small motorcycles. The Habana was marketed as the Aprilia Mojito under North American markets. There are no real differences in the Habana and the Mojito, other than the name. Today, owners of Habanas or Mojitos, as well as technicians that work on them, can rely on an Aprilia Habana service manual to perform routine maintenance.

Aprilia introduced the Habana in the early 2000’s and production began in 2004. Currently, the motorcycle is still available to both the European and North American markets, however, new models have not been created since 2007. Most Aprilia enthusiasts and buyers buy a Habana (or Mojito) in hopes of customizing it personally. The original Habana had a design very similar to that of the Honda Joker, another small-capacity motorcycle with a similar build.

The engine in the Aprilia Habana is offered in three different versions – 50cc, 125cc, or 150cc. North America and Canada both saw the Mojito (Habana) in 2005 with the same three engine options. However, in European markets, the Aprilia Habana continued on with sales, (although commenced in Canada and the US), some under the Habana name and some marketed as the Habana Retro.

The Habana has a fair amount of space for both storage and riding purposes. Aprilia created a retro design for the Habana which allows for under the seat storage, great for helmet or additional placement. With 12-inch front wheels, there is improved stability which is also thanks to the lower seat height that allows the rider to be closer to the road. Aprilia also created the Habana and Mojito with a front braking system that is handled by a leading link set up.

With a four stroke, you can get up to 70mph with the 125cc engine which is quite impressive for its small capacity size. Fuel to mile ratio has also been quite impressive and affordable for someone who uses the Habana as their daily ride. All engine options were air cooled and actually branded as mid-sized scooters.

Today, Aprilia continues to produce motorcycles and scooters that are great for both sporting and touring rides. Although the Habana and Mojito are no longer in production, they can still be found all over the world – in North American markets as well as all over Europe. Technicians who work on Aprilia motorbikes, as well as owners, can make use of service manuals to ensure that quality care is provided to these reliable rides.
