1 - GENERAL INFORMATION 1 - GENERAL INFORMATION Product overview This manual covers the electronic/electrical portion of the Bale Command ™ II system. Refer to the baler operator’s manual for the mechanical portion. The Bale Command ™ II system. is a computerized control system that allows the operator to visually and audibly know when to shift the baler from one side of the windrow to the other for proper feeding of the round baler. The control box also provides the operator with the ability to select the desired number of twine or net wraps on the bale and wraps the bale automatically. The system retains the selected wrap program as long as desired but can be easily reprogrammed. NOTE: The Bale Command ™ II system is designed for use with a 12 V negative ground system only. 1-1 NOT FOR REPRODUCTION

1 - GENERAL INFORMATION Manual operation of the actuators With the Bale Command™ II system turned on, pressing the WRAP (1) or WRAP (2) keys on the operator’s panel will cause the actuator for either the net or twine, as selected by the NET/TWINE key, to extend or retract. 1 - GENERAL INFORMATION Key Pad Key Pad 93107925 1 Operator’s Panel Key Functions AUTO Allows user to select between automatic or manual operation of the system. ARROW (INCREASE) Scrolls screen upward. ON/OFF Turns the Operator’s Panel ON or OFF. PROGRAM/ENTER Brings the user to the "setup/diagnostic" screen or is pressed to save a value. ARROW (DECREASE) Scrolls screen downward. CANCEL/RESET Returns the user to the Normal Operation Mode, clears the Daily Bale Count Value, or return the user to the previous screen without saving NET/TWINE Allows user to select between net or twine wrapping. BALE COUNT Displays the daily and total bale counts. BALE SIZE & WRAPS Adjusts the bale size (set diameter). Set the number of twine or net wraps. NET KNIFE EXTEND (Arrow) NOT USED SLICE ON/OFF NOT USED WRAP EXTEND (Arrow) Extends the twine tubes or net wrapper. NET KNIFE RETRACT (Arrow) NOT USED START WRAP Starts the wrapping cycle. Net Net wrap. Twine Arms Arms that distribute twine onto the bale. Duckbill/Net Wrapper Duckbill/Net Wrapper Actuator Electrical actuator/motor. Wrapping Fault Net wrap is not working correctly. Tailgate Open Tailgate is open partially or fully, and is no longer clocked closed. Bale Size Bale diameter Bale Shape (Left-hand) Depicts bale shape of the left-hand side of the bale in formation. 1 - GENERAL INFORMATION Battery Battery symbol Bale Eject Bale is ready to be ejected. Bale Wrapping Bale is in the process of being wrapped. Full Bale Bale formation is complete to full bale size diameter selected. Tailgate Closed (Left-hand) Tailgate switch indicates tailgate is fully closed and locked. Alarm An audible alarm is sounding. Auto Automatic Bale Mode is selected. Bale Shape (Overall) Depicts whole bale shape of both the left-hand and right-hand sides of the bale in formation. Brightness Operation panel display brightness. Calibration Conﬁgurations 1-5 NOT FOR REPRODUCTION

1 - GENERAL INFORMATION Daily Bale Count Bale count for one day. Distance (Right-hand end of bale) Distance from the right-hand that the twine wrapping starts. Distance (Left-hand end of bale) Distance from the left-hand that the twine wrapping starts. Metric/English Units of measure to display. Fault An error or malfunction has occurred. Hour Glass System is waiting. Information Inputs Number of End Wraps (Left-hand End) Number of twine wraps at the left-hand end of the bale. Manual Manual Baling Mode is selected.
