4 PLATFORM MECHANICS REMOVING THE 980 mm PLATFORM Equipment and tools hexagonal "T" section spanner 3-5-10 mm hex bit socket 15 mm ratchet tackle load capacity 1000 kg lift belt load capacity 1000 kg Procedure Before starting work, ensure that you are wearing suitable protective clothing� Move the truck to a safe place, away from areas of transit of other vehicles and pedestrians� Lower the clamps and platform to the ground� Turn the keyswitch to OFF and disconnect the battery� Phase 1 5mm T HANDLE HEX KEY Using the hexagonal T spanner, unscrew and remove the screws securing the upper cover of the cylinder (ref.A fig.1)� Remove the cover� Phase 2 HEXAGONAL 10 MM "T" SECTION SPANNER - 15 mm SOCKET WRENCH - RATCHET Using the hexagonal "T" section spanner remove the 4 screws securing the module to the truck chassis (ref.A fig.2) and recover the washers� Using the socket wrench and the ratchet, unscrew the screws securing the reduction unit to the chassis (ref.D fig.4)� Place the plate and switches to one side and remove the o-rings from the two platform sliding rods (ref.D fig.4)� Take care of any cables and if needed disconnect the connectors and slide the cables out with the platform� Fig� 1 A Fig� 2 B C Fig� 3 SERVICE

5 PLATFORM MECHANICS Phase 3 SLING - LIFT BELTS - HEXAGONAL 3 mm "T" SECTION SPANNER With the T handle hex key, unscrew and remove the screws securing the cable holder chain (ref.E fig.5)� Harness the platform with the lifting belt using the handle (ref.F fig.4)� Place the perpendicular sling on the handle, hook the belt to the sling and lift until the sliding cylinders come out of the guide rails (fig.6)� Phase 4 TACKLE - LIFT BELT Place the platform on the ground and proceed with replacement� D E Fig� 4 Fig� 5 Fig� 6 F SERVICE
