130HP Models
Even though Yamaha has only been producing outboards since the ‘60s, they were some of the best from the beginning. Its 130hp range, first released in the ‘90s, is offered in a wide range of different configurations, including V4 and V6 two-strokes to today's more modern inline-4 four-strokes.
Interestingly, the Yamaha 130hp 2-stroke outboard’s specs don't differ much from its 4-stroke counterpart — they are quite similar, to be honest. Still, the former is much simpler to repair but significantly less reliable, while the latter is the opposite in both respects. In any case, a Yamaha 130hp service manual won't be left unused for long.
Indeed, the repair manual contains every troubleshooting and repair procedure provided by the manufacturer, including step-by-step instructions, Yamaha 130hp outboard parts diagrams, wiring diagrams, exploded-view illustrations, torque specs, service schedules, etc. — if you need something to fix your outboard, it’s in there!
