DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

PREPARATION
Before disassembling the unit, comfirm the following items.
(See Fig.1, 2, 3)
• Turn off the power.
• Remove the chin rest.
• Remove the battery from the battery box.
• Loosen all the strings and remove them. And besides, remove the bridge.
1. MA Circuit Board (Time required: about 1 min)
1-1 Remove the knob marked [A50]. (Fig.5)
1-2 Remove the four (4) screws marked [A70] and the
two (2) screws marked [A80] to remove the panel
lid assembly. (Fig.5)
1-3 Remove the two (2) screws marked [C50]. The MA
circuit board can then be removed. (Fig.6)
2. JK Circuit Board (Time required: about 2 min)
2-1. Remove the panel lid assembly. (See Procedure 1)
2-2. Remove the nut marked [A]. The JK circuit board
can then be removed. (Fig.4)
* Take care not to lose the three spacers for the JK
circuit board installation.
3. PH Circuit Board (Time required: about 2 min)
3-1. Remove the panel lid assembly. (See Procedure 1)
3-2. Remove the nut marked [B]. The PH circuit board
can then be removed. (Fig.4)

4. Pickup Assembly (Time required: about 2 min)
4-1. Remove the panel lid assembly. (See Procedure 1)
4-2. Remove the connector assembly of the pickup from
the MA circuit board.
4-3. Push the cable of the pickup into a hole of the body
from backside so that the pickup floats.
Hold the pickup with the escutcheon and pull them
out from the front side. (Fig.7)
* Pulling the pickup alone may damage the cable. So
make sure to pull the pickup and the escutcheon at
the same time.

5. Silhouette Cover Assembly
(Time required: about 5 min)
5-1. Remove the panel lid assembly. (See Procedure 1)
5-2. Remove the MA circuit board. (See Procedure 1-3)
5-3. Remove the JK circuit board. (See Procedure 2-2)
5-4. Remove the PH circuit board. (See Procedure 3-2)
5-5. Remove the screw marked [C30], the screw marked
[C40] and the screw marked [C50]. The silhouette
cover assembly can then be removed. (Fig.8)
* The shield cover B is non-reusable because it is
attached on the silhouette cover assembly.
* The end block and the end pin are adhesively
attached to the silhouette cover assembly.
6. Battery Box (Time required: about 2 min)
6-1. Remove the panel lid assembly. (See Procedure 1)
6-2. Remove the four (4) screws marked [D40]. The
battery box can then be removed. (Fig.9)
