This is an antique collection of 20 sheets charted with beautiful and unusual designs for use in cross stitch or filet crochet. Most sheets have numerous designs, and there are 60 plates in the complete set, spanning 3 volumes. This is Volume 1.

The designs include folklore and medieval, renaissance and neo-classically based patterns. The great variety of designs include formal and casual borders, corners, birds, flowers, dragons, medallions, and hunting scenes.

This collection contains charts only (no written instructions). If you require instructions, an Internet search will provide many links to free online directions for this simple method of crochet. It's a beautiful way to create and embellish home decor, clothing, and more, even for the beginner.

These gorgeous designs are also suitable for old-fashioned cross stitch and can be enjoyable for kids to stitch on gingham fabric.
