Scion xD Service Repair Workshop Manuals

The Toyota Scion xD is a five-door subcompact hatchback. The Scion xD was unveiled to the public on February 8, 2007, at the Chicago Auto Show. By mid-2007, the xD appeared in Scion showrooms. However, if you ever find yourself hitting a brick wall while repairing your xD, having a Scion xD repair manual to consult can help you find a way around said wall.

The xD came standard with mirrors, power locks, and windows. The vehicle also had ABS, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRAC),  a tire pressure monitoring system, seat mounted driver and passenger side airbags, dual stage driver and passenger airbags, and side curtain airbags.

A choice of three new head units made by Pioneer were made available, in 2008. All sound systems featured standard iPod connectivity and six speakers, orange lighting, and Scion's SSP equalizer presets. The Premium head unit had all the features of the base unit but also included a small LCD that could display pictures and movies downloaded from Pioneer's website. A navigation system is also available.

An option of two new head units made by Alpine were made available in 2010. Moreover, the iPod connectivity had been revamped in the form of a USB port, along with an AUX jack. Previous models with Pioneer, had two separate inputs on both sides of the cigarette lighter, with the iPod connectivity port located on the passenger side, and the AUX jack port being on the driver side. The Scion xD received a minor revamping to the grille, for the 2011 model year.

The FWD xD came with the 2ZR-FE DOHC 1.8 L 4-cylinder engine with dual VVT-i that produced 127 hp (95 kW;129 PS) and 125 lb⋅ft (169 N⋅m) of torque. It can be paired with either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual transmission.

The xD is a second-generation Toyota. The xD featured the same reclining and sliding rear seat. Unlike the Yaris and xA, the xD's instrument gauges were located behind the steering wheel, and the xD's tachometer and speedometer were on the same dial counter-rotating.

The Scion xD was discontinued in 2014 and was succeeded by the Toyota C-HR in 2017. However, you can still find the xD on the road today. With that said, why don't you stop by and grab yourself a Scion xD service manual, today!
