Saturn Vue Service Repair Workshop Manuals
The Saturn corporation was around for many years, producing vehicles that were widespread all over the world. Being an American automobile manufacturer, the Saturn Vue was built and produced at GM’s Spring Hill Plant. The Vue was in production for over 8 years and today, it is still recognized as one of Saturn’s most notable vehicles. Because so many still own this compact SUV, it is important for owners and technicians to refer to a Saturn Vue repair manual in case any damages occur.
The Vue’s first generation was in production from 2002 until 2007 and came with a variety of engine and transmission options. With three gasoline engines and one hybrid electric and gasoline engine, buyers of the Saturn Vue’s had many options to choose from. In 2004, all six-cylinder Saturn Vues wre given Honda’s 250 horsepower engine and a similar transmission.
Towards the end of the first generation, the Saturn Vue received a notable facelift. In 2006, this facelift was debuted with higher quality materials, cruise control as a standard, automatic headlights, and a new bumper and grill.
During the first generation, there were also Saturn Vue additions that were noted as high-performance vehicles. In 2004, the Vue Red Line was introduced. The Red Line was lowered one inch and had a sportier suspension tuning. And, in 2007, towards the end of the first generation, the Green Line model was debuted. The Green Line model was known as a mild hybrid because it had a belt alternator starter or a BAS hybrid system.
For the second generation Saturn Vue, GM took over production from Saturn. The second generation of the Saturn Vue was only in production for 2 total years. It was manufactured in Mexico as a rebranded version of Opel’s Antara. With many different trim level options, including the red and green lines, the Saturn Vue ended up being a hit. Mexico and South America both saw the Saturn Vue as the Chevrolet Captiva Sport.
2010 saw the Saturn Vue become discontinued but there are still Saturn Vues all over the world today. And, because the vehicle was rebranded by Chevrolet, many people may still see these vehicles today. Owners of Saturn Vues or Chevrolet Captiva Sports can take their vehicles into a technician who can perform any necessary service. With a Saturn Vue service manual, technicians can then ensure that these compact SUVs remain in good working condition so that Saturn’s brand can be remembered.
