Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Pontiac)
Removal Procedure
Tools Required
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove both of the front tire and wheels. Refer to Tire Mounting and Dismounting in Tires
and Wheels.
3. Remove the right and left front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front
End.
4. Remove the front park/turn signal/side marker lamp. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher
Replacement in Lightning Systems And Horns.
5. Remove the push-in retainers from the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
6. Remove the front bumper fascia from the vehicle.

1. Align the front bumper to the front impact bar and to the body.
2. Install the push-in retainers to the upper and lower front bumper fascia.
3. Install the front park/turn signal/sidemarker lamp. Refer to Hazard and Turn Signal Flasher
Replacement in Lighting Systems and Horns.
4. Install the right and left front fender liner. Refer to Fender Liner Replacement in Body Front
End.
5. Install both of the front tire and wheels. Refer to Tire Mounting and Dismounting in Tires and
Wheels.
6. Lower the vehicle.

Front Bumper Fascia Support Replacement (Pontiac)
Removal Procedure
Tools Required
J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover
1. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
2. Use the J tool in order to remove the push-in retainers from the front bumper fascia lower
support.
3. Remove the front bumper fascia lower support from the front impact bar.
