In support of current models, Mazda will ship to all dealers one (1) new Special Service Tool (SST). The SST will be shipped automatically
by Mazda’s tool vendor, America Kowa Seiki (AKS) during October 2007.
The following SST is the latest addition to the Mazda Required Tool (MRT) list:

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Mazda Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) PTU batteries are not covered by the system’s 1-year extension agreement. WDS support
information was communicated in the “WDS Support Extension Program” documentation sent to all dealers as part of the 1-year
extension agreement. The WDS PTU batteries are considered a consumable item and most have been in use for several years. WDS PTU
batteries are available for purchase on Mazda Tool and Equipment website.
