AD-001/97 - KEY REPLACEMENT PROGRAM SI106939 TSB NUMBER: AD-001/97 For Internal Mazda Corporate Use Only DESCRIPTION APPLICABLE MODELS 1995 - 02 Millenia DESCRIPTION The primary, secondary and emergency keys to these vehicles are a center cut design. This design was introduced in the 1995 model year and is unique to Mazda. Replacement keys are not supplied by Mazda and must be coordinated between the dealership and Tokai Rika, USA (TRUSA). The following procedures and the attached order form should assist dealers with customers who have lost their keys. KEY IDENTIFICATION Primary Key (2 per vehicle) - Operates all locks and the vehicle ignition. Secondary (Valet) Key (1 per vehicle) - Operates all doors and vehicle ignition. Will not allow access to trunk or glove box. Emergency Key (1 per vehicle) - Operates like the Primary Key but is made from aluminum. Designed as a spare key and fits into the credit card pockets of a billfold. PLACING ORDERS Include the dealer code, legible dealership name/address/phone number and the name of the person placing the order. Key codes are five (5) digits, all beginning with the number "2." ORDER CONFIRMATION To receive fax confirmation regarding your order, include your fax number with your order. If confirmation is not received within a 24 hour period, call Tokai Rika at (269) 966-0512 between 8:30 am and 10:30 pm (Mon - Fri) and 10:00 am - 2:00 pm (Sat) EST. DELIVERY Tokai Rika ships all orders via United Parcel Service (UPS) next day or 2nd day air, depending on customer urgency. Delivery is promised within five (5) business days (excluding holidays). Delivery time and cost may vary depending on location and time of order.
Standard Delivery All times referenced are EST Orders received before 1:00 pm on Saturday will be shipped on Saturday. No call will be made to the dealership for clarification unless indicated on the order form. DUE TO SECURITY REASONS, NO ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED DIRECTLY TO CUSTOMERS. EMERGENCY ORDERS MUST BE FAXED TO TOKAI RIKA NO LATER THAN 6:30 PM (MON - FRI) AND 1:00 PM (SAT) FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY. Same-Day Delivery Tokai Rika offers same day delivery to most U.S. locations. Rates and service available vary, depending on dealership location, timing of order and available flights. Tokai Rika uses Delta Dash as the primary shipper for these orders. Delivery is made directly to the dealership. Dealers may pick the keys up at the airport (to reduce the cost). Customers may not pick up the package or accept delivery themselves. BILLING All replacement keys are billed from Tokai Rika to Mazda Motor of America, Inc. MAzda Motor of America, Inc. will invoice the dealer.
