JULY 2009 MILEAGE SOFTWARE CORRECTION
The software calculates the code that represents the mileage value in the
odometers/mileage memory chip, to fully recalibrate the odometer/mileage you will also
need a serial programmer and some knowledge of disassembling the dash.

When buying an eeprom writer make sure its compatible with your chip type.

You may need to adjust the mileage / KM on your digital dash if any of the following
have occur:
1: The vehicles battery has become discharged and the car had to be jump started.
2: The dashboard may develop an electrical fault.
3: The dashboard may have been damaged in an accident or through vandalism.
4: The speedo may have failed and you were forced to replace it with a new or second-
hand unit.
5: A new engine had been fitted.
This in turn causes the wrong mileage to be displayed on your mileometer and will make
selling your car very difficult. If the new mileage reading is low then the purchaser may
think you have clocked the speedo. If the reading is high then the value will be lower.
This is where this software will help by re programming the onboard chip with the
correct data. The new data overwrites the old data mileage.
