SPECIAL CAUTIONS AIR BAG Refer to Procedure Explanation 29 for Supplemental Restraint/Air Bag Special Cautions. ABS Manufacturer advises that ABS Control Unit be disconnected before welding and removed if a temperature of 85 degrees C (185 degrees F) is to be exceeded for more than two hours. REFINISH BAKING Manufacturer advises that after baking, sufficient cooling time should be allowed before attempting to start vehicle. SUSPENSION Manufacturer advises that some new fasteners must be used whenever old fasteners are loosened or removed. WELDING Before initiating any repair involving the use of an electric welder, the ignition must be in the off position and battery disconnected. Aluminum reinforcements are in the rocker panel areas. Manufacturer Advises that Laser Welding is Used on Some Welded Panels in the Manufacturing Process of this Vehicle. Please see Manufacturer's Body Service Manual for Specific Repair Instructions.
