The information is divided into groups within each s e ction. All sections of this s e rvic e manual should be car e fully studi ed by the se rviceman. Much basic information such as the principles of 4-cycl e engine operation, carburetion and ignition hav e been omitt ed, Such information can be found in any go od library and is recommended reading for th e new serviceman before consulting this manual for service proc e dures . Emphasis is placed on diagnosing malfunc- tions, analysis and te sting. Diagnosing mal- functions lists possible troubles, th e ir causes and how to con ee t them.
