On the 2002–2007 Buick Rendezvous, the transmission control module (TCM) is not stuck right on the transmission itself like on some older vehicles. It’s mounted inside the vehicle.
Here’s where you’ll usually find it:
- Under the center console on the passenger side — It’s tucked up behind the trim panels near the front floor area, usually behind or under the kick panel/center console side trim.
- Sometimes you can access it by removing a few bolts and trim pieces, so there’s no need to crawl under the truck for it.
