Yes, you can absolutely search it. This 2016–2019 Toyota 4Runner manual is provided in PDF format, and it’s fully searchable.
Once you open it on your computer, you can:
Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac)
Then just type in whatever you’re looking for — like “transfer case,” “KDSS,” “brake actuator,” “torque specs,” etc. — and it will jump straight to those sections.
If you’re using it on a phone or tablet, most PDF reader apps also have a search icon (usually a magnifying glass) that works the same way. So you won’t have to scroll through hundreds of pages; just search and go right to what you need.
