On a 2017 VW Tiguan, the clock is set through the radio / infotainment screen, not through the dash buttons. Here’s the usual way:
- Turn the ignition on.
- Press the CAR button (or MENU, depending on the radio).
- Go into Settings.
- Look for Time and Date.
- Adjust the time (and date if needed), then confirm.
If your Tiguan has the basic radio without a touchscreen, there’s usually a SETUP button — same idea, just scroll using the knob.
Just to clarify: this kind of thing is covered in an owner’s manual, not a service & repair manual. If you ever need to work on the car itself — diagnostics, repairs, wiring, torque specs — that’s when the repair manual comes into play.
Hope this helps 👍🏻
