Yes, this manual is also compatible with the sDrive (RWD) version too. The 2021 X6 sDrive40i manual is built around the same basic car – same chassis, same 3.0L engine, same brakes, body, interior, electronics, etc. The only real difference from the xDrive40i is the drivetrain.
So for things like:
- Engine work
- Routine maintenance
- Brakes, suspension, steering
- Interior, body, glass
- Electrical, wiring diagrams, diagnostics
…it’ll apply just fine to an sDrive as well. You just ignore the procedures that are clearly marked for xDrive / AWD components.
If you want to be super exact, using your VIN with the software helps you match up the right diagrams and specs, but you don’t need a separate manual just because it’s sDrive.
