Yeah, the wheel-well access on those is a pain. You can get to the bulb through that little panel, but it’s tight and usually ends with bloody knuckles. Most of us just pull the headlight — it’s way easier and only takes a couple minutes.
Here’s the gist:
- Pop the grille off (it’s just a row of push clips + a couple screws at the top)
- Then you’ll see the two bolts holding the headlight from the front
- There’s also a hidden slide pin toward the fender — once the bolts are out, just pull the headlight straight forward and it’ll pop loose
- Now you’ve got the whole headlight in your hands and can get to the parking/turn bulb easy
Once it’s out:
- Twist the bulb socket out
- Swap the bulb
- Put it all back
Takes maybe 10 minutes when you’ve done it once, way easier than fighting it from the wheel well. In case you need more details, this manual includes the procedure to replace the turn signal bulb, including step-by-step instructions, clear images, and exploded-view illustrations.
Good luck!
