That depends a bit on the model year, since Hyundai’s infotainment systems have changed a lot over the years — but generally, here’s how you do it:
If it’s an older Santa Fe (say 2010s-ish) with a smaller display:
- Turn the ignition on (you don’t need to start the engine).
- Press the “Setup” or “Clock” button on the dash.
- Use the tuning xxxx or arrow buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
- Press “OK” or “Enter” to confirm.
For newer models with the touchscreen (like 2019 and up):
- Go to the Setup menu on the screen.
- Tap “Date/Time” or sometimes “General → Date/Time.”
- Switch off the “Auto Time Update via GPS” if it’s on — that’s what locks the clock.
- Adjust the date and time manually, then hit Save or back out.
If your system syncs with GPS or your phone, it might auto-correct the date after you change it — so double-check that setting if it keeps resetting.
Hope this helps 👍🏻
