On a 2013 Kia Forte, the power window relay is typically located inside the interior fuse box, which is mounted behind the driver’s side dashboard, just above the brake pedal. You’ll need to pop off the small access panel to see the fuses and relays.
Now — depending on the trim, the power windows may not use a traditional “power window relay.” Instead, the Body Control Module (BCM) may handle the switching duties electronically. If all windows are dead, check:
- The POWER fuse (usually 30A) in the engine bay fuse box
- Any labeled P/WINDOW or WINDOW fuses in the interior fuse panel
- If the driver’s master switch is working — if not, it might be toast or have a loose connector
That said, for more information, I recommend grabbing this 👉🏻 2013 Kia Forte / Forte Koup (TD) Service & Repair Manual, which got the full fuse/relay maps, pinouts, and BCM wiring diagrams — makes it a hell of a lot easier to track where the juice is (or isn’t).
