Ah, that's usually quite normal. When your Hyundai ix35’s engine runs, especially from a cold start, the combustion process naturally produces water vapor. Once the exhaust system starts to warm up, that vapor can condense inside the muffler or pipes — and you’ll see it drip out the tailpipe. Happens more in cooler temps or short trips where the system doesn’t get hot enough to burn it all off.
Now, if it’s pouring water, smells sweet (like coolant), or you're seeing white smoke constantly — that could mean a head gasket issue. But a little dripping while the engine warms up is totally fine. That’s just your exhaust sweating it out.
