To replace the driver side mirror glass on a 2015 Chevy Spark, you don’t need to pull the whole mirror housing — just the glass itself. Here’s how to do it:
- Tilt the mirror so the outer edge is pushed all the way in (toward the car). That gives you more space to work on the inside edge.
- Use a plastic trim tool or your fingers to gently pry behind the mirror glass. It’s clipped onto a central pivot — just be slow and careful to avoid cracking it (if it’s not already broken).
- Disconnect the heater wires (if your Spark has heated mirrors). Just pull them off the tabs on the back of the glass.
- Snap the new mirror glass in by lining it up with the center mount and pressing evenly until it clicks into place. Reconnect the heater wires first, if needed.
Takes about 5–10 minutes if you’ve got the replacement glass ready ✌🏻
That said, if you wish to replace the entire side mirror with a new one, the complete procedure is laid out clearly in the manual. It has step-by-step instructions, clear images, and exploded-view illustrations, ensuring you can get the job done properly.
