If the rear washer fluid pump is working, but the wiper blade isn’t moving, it’s likely one of three things: the wiper motor, the wiper switch, or the wiring in between.
Here’s what I’d check first:
- Rear wiper motor – Try tapping it lightly with the handle of a screwdriver while the switch is on. If it suddenly moves, it’s probably the motor seizing up from age.
- Wiper switch – If the front wipers work but the rear doesn’t, the switch could be worn out in just that position. The manual will show you how to test continuity across the terminals.
- Fuse & wiring – Even if the fluid pump works, double-check the fuse box. Some models run the pump and motor on separate circuits. Also check for cracked wires at the tailgate hinge — those like to break with age.
This manual includes detailed electrical diagrams, so it’ll show you the full circuit, including the power source, switch, motor, relays (if any), and grounds for the rear wiper system. It also contains step-by-step instructions, clear images, and exploded-view illustrations, ensuring you can replace the wiper motor/switch properly when needed.
