To remove the rear seat on a Mazda2 (also known as the Demio), follow these general steps:

Bottom cushion:

Push the front edge of the seat cushion backward firmly to release the locking tabs or clips.

Once the front clips release, lift the cushion up and out of the car.

Backrest (if needed):

Fold the seatbacks down flat.

Locate and remove the bolts at the bottom of the backrests (usually near the hinge or bracket).

Slide or lift the backrest upward to detach it from the upper mounts or hooks.

Be sure to check for any hidden fasteners or wiring if your model has seat heaters or airbags.
