Most Holden Rodeo TF models (especially those from the late '80s through the early 2000s) came with alternators that have internal voltage regulators. This is typical for Isuzu-based engines used in the Rodeo.
If yours is a petrol or diesel 2.6L, 2.8L, or 3.2L variant, chances are the regulator is built into the alternator itself. But if you want to be 100% sure, you can check the back of the alternator — internal regulators usually don’t have an external regulator box or extra wiring going elsewhere.
Or, better yet, if you have the exact engine code or year, we can help confirm it. So feel free to reach out to us with more details on your Rodeo. We could also point you to the right manual if you ever need to work on the alternator.
Trust me, when it comes to electrical stuff, you don't want to guess around, and the manual helps prevent you from doing that ✌🏻
